Needs and resources
You may download  and fill in this electronic form to communicate your needs and resources to GL-TTP.

Activities and species

You may download and fill in this electronic form to indicate your sector of activities per legume species.

Genetic resources

“Genetic resources survey 1” aims to assess the breeders’ awareness of the level of genetic diversity effectively used in their breeding programme, to evaluate their current use of wild germplasm and germplasm banks, and to identify the bottlenecks of exploitation of wild germplasm. Please fill in the downloadable electronic questionnaire by November 6, 2006.

“Genetic resources survey 2” seeks to explore how genetic resources are characterised in breeding programmes, how diverse data sets are managed and integrated in breeding programme databases and which available characteristics are actually exploited in designing breeding strategies. Please fill in the downloadable electronic questionnaire by November 13, 2006.

Breeding objectives
The breeding objectives survey aims to define breeding objectives for different legume species according to the real constraints of specific zones of production and the specific quality requirements of target markets for animal feed or human consumption. Please fill in the breeding objectives survey by December 11, 2006.

If you have any difficulties respecting this deadline, please contact us. We will provide you with assistance if necessary, and we will accept your survey with a month delay, ie up to January 11, 2007.

The breeding objectives survey consists in a set of four related documents:
1) One master document per species: “Breeding objectives (main doc)”
2) One intermediate document for the definition of specific breeding objectives for productivity depending on zones of production: “B.O. productivity”
3) A second intermediate document to visualise the production constraints over time during the growing cycle of the crop in specific zones of production: “Calendar”
4) A third intermediate document for the definition of specific breeding objectives for quality depending on the requirements and preferences of target markets: “B.O. quality”
